Mission Statement

The mission of RAMP is protecting the public and supporting nurses who are engaged in their own wellness. RAMP achieves its mission through:

Incorporating and following best practices from other monitoring programs for nurses with impaired practice.

Working closely with the NJ BON to ensure that the program meets the spirit and intent of the Alternative to Discipline legislation.

Supporting nurses to become aware of their illness and engage in their wellness education of nursing, nurse employers, legislators, and consumer communities.

Ongoing program evaluation to ensure that RAMP meets the needs of the public and nurses.

RAMP works under the direction of the NJ Board of Nursing and in collaboration with the nursing community and consumer public.
