Policy on Fees for NJSNA Services to Non-Members 

The basic charge for staff services to non-member nurses is minimum rate of $30 for up to 15 minutes and $100/hr and $250/hour for non-nurse non-members which would include any research that needed to be done before final response by email or phone, plus cost of materials and postage. Staff will estimate the cost at the time the request is made.

Staff members fulfill requests for factual information and referrals from both NJSNA members and nonmembers. Please note that a fee will be charged to non-members for the following:

  • Information retrieval requiring in-depth review of literature, compiling and interpretation of information, database searches, etc;
  • Consultation requiring extensive preparation, such as detailed investigation of specific topics and/or written reports;
  • Speeches/panel appearances; and
  • Workshops/educational sessions.

If the non-member joins, the fee will be waived.
